CoreSkills proposes a new project-based learning model with a skills approach for the 21st century and STEAM, supported by national and international standards and qualifications frameworks, in order to ensure that students from 12 years of age have the opportunity to develop skills, specific and soft, with which they can be inserted in the world of knowledge and work.
This skill development is concretized through technological innovation kits that fulfill a double function, on the one hand, they pose a problem or a real need that demands to be solved and, on the other hand, they facilitate the acquisition of skills of the user who participates in the experience.
The CoreSkills service considers Training and Monitoring stages. The first focuses mainly on training sessions to learn and deepen ABP methodology, pedagogical strategies for the development of projects and the operation of the platform. The second one considers visits of classroom assistance and remote pedagogical support.
Throughout the process, a CoreSkills pedagogical advisor maintains contact with the establishment’s Management Team and the project’s participating teachers, in order to coordinate the program’s actions, deliver pedagogical and technical support and / or respond to other emerging needs.
